TDM (Turbo Download Manager) is a Download Manager that can increase the
speed of your downloads by up to 3x times as reported. The First
Download Accelerating app in the Android Market.
=> How does it work?
TDM
makes use of multiple HTTP connections to download files to your
phone. You can enable the Download Acceleration by increasing the number
of "Maximum Connections per Download" and you can further optimize your
download speed by modifying the "Buffer Size" under "Settings". Not all
servers support multiple connections/streams, if so use "Connections
per Download" = 1 in your settings to prevent from failing.

Keep
in mind your download speed is always limited by your internet
provider, TDM will not increase your bandwidth but will try to maximize
your download connections to servers.

TDM
provides features for pausing and resuming downloads as well as
concurrent downloads. Previous downloads can be found in the History
tab. Note: Some servers don't allow resumable downloads.
=> Integration with your own browser
You
can use your browser to download files as you usual do. Once a file is
detected for download you can choose "Turbo Download Manager" from the
popup menu to start the download. You can also "Long press" on a link
and choose "Share Link" or "Copy Link" so you can download with TDM Pro.

If
your downloads are not detected by TDM you can use the built-in Turbo
Web Browser to make sure that all downloads are handled properly by TDM.
The mini Turbo Web Browser features bookmarking and multiple
windows/tabs as well as some other settings you might find useful. * Pro

TDM Pro
provides advance detection for URL links and Forms/Captchas. Additional
features include Searching of all URL links in a page and a user
friendly 1-tap to download URL list with filter.
